by Dean Wangsgard, CCE, NACM Intermountain

Tell us how we can help you. Are you in need of seminars for recertification, educational classes for accreditation, or a deep dive or refresher into mechanics' liens? Are you in need of an additional resource for the most up-to-date credit reports or a trade group? We are here for you with programs tailored to meet your needs. We want you to make this your association.

You are an important part of NACM Intermountain Arizona. Let us know how we can work together to shape NACM into your go-to resource for all your business credit needs.

The Importance of Self-Talk
by Paul Stott, Sunroc Building Materials

Antitrust Compliance
by Denise Burnside, CBF, A & K Railroad Materials

When we reviewed the U.S. Antitrust laws in Credit Law class, especially the Sherman, Clayton, Robinson-Patman and Federal Trade Commission Acts, it reminded me of the many hours that were spent at my work place, reviewing customer files and making computer system changes in order to better address compliance issues with these Acts.

In class we learned that antitrust laws have been around for a long time . . . . Read full article

ICEL Recap: The Power of Mulligans
by Shane Inglesby, CCE, Geneva Rock Products

Anyone who has played the game of golf is familiar with the term "mulligan." Only the best of golfers have no need for a mulligan. Weekend hackers, and even salesmen, need mulligans every now and again.

For those unfamiliar with the term, a mulligan is a do-over -
an opportunity to take another swing because the first shot did not meet expectations . . . . Read full article
