by Shane Inglesby, CCE, Geneva Rock Products, Inc.

Dean Wangsgard, president of NACM Intermountain, will retire at the end of this month after 38 years of service to our association.

For many this change will be hard to comprehend. Obtaining a designation is a sign of commitment, a vested interest in self-improvement, and the willingness to take your education and abilities to new heights . . . . Read full article

Effective Conflict Resolution
by Mark Jones, Geneva Rock Products, Inc.

This year's WRCC in San Diego, California was one of the best WRCC I have been to in the last 25 years, and not just because Shane Inglesby was one of the presenters (but it helped.)

One class I would like to highlight was by Michael Rapp, MA., the Director of Public Speaking Program at San Diego State University. The session was called "Effective Conflict Resolution." He did a great job of enlightening us on the pros and cons of conflict and resolving problems in a peaceful matter most the time . . . . Read full article
