ICEL Recap: Productive Living Through Enlightened Thinking
by Stephanie Johnson, CBA, Gritton & Associates
March's ICEL meeting was presented by Don McKean and Laura Peifer of GBS Benefits. Don spoke first about relationships being the key of life. Building relationships is an important aspect to successful living. He talked about how he and his brother were raised in the same family but are very different; one is a "how person" the other is a "why person." Once they understood how or why they were required to do a chore, it was easier for their parents to get them to accomplish their task. The same can be applied to our workplace relationships.
